What we collect
Only what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the suburb or site address of the job, and the details, plans or photos you send about the work. If you call, we may note the same details so we can quote and schedule. We do not collect payment card details through this website.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, carry out and invoice the work, order materials for your job, meet our obligations as a licensed electrical contractor (including compliance and safety records), and keep in contact about work in progress or warranty. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We share it only where it is needed to do the job or as required by law — for example with the builder or property manager engaging us, suppliers and wholesalers ordering equipment for your site, subcontracted licensed tradespeople working on your job, our accountant or bookkeeper, and regulators such as your electricity network operator or Building and Energy where a notice or compliance record is required.
How it is stored
Enquiries and job records are held in password-protected email, accounting and phone systems accessible only to Chris and anyone directly helping run the business. Records are kept for as long as needed to service the job and meet tax, insurance and electrical compliance requirements, then deleted or securely destroyed.
Cookies and website analytics
This site may use basic analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. That information is aggregated and does not identify you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to contact us.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it — email Chris.bses@outlook.com or call 0401 817 175 and we will respond within 30 days.
